After a distinguished career as a sommelier in NYC, the pandemic led Jared to take refuge in the wilds of Maine. In that wine-barren landscape, he pivoted to the high-volume world of industrial packaging sales.

It was there, fighting daily battles with clunky ERPs and bloated CRMs, that he saw the truth: most business 'systems' are just friction in disguise, and was compelled to rely on a tool that had been gathering rust since undergrad: Semantics. A degree in philosophy, driven by a love of logic and relationships between words, turned out to be the perfect incubator for automation.
